Africa is obviously part of that transition too, but if we are being honest, we have also been forced to look for alternative sources of power because the realities of the energy sector in many parts of the continent make reliable electricity difficult to access. There are plenty of people in Africa with qualifications who are still struggling to find work, and there are also people looking at industries such as solar energy and wondering how to get the skills needed to enter them. The lack of practical skills can be just as limiting as the lack of opportunities themselves.
